- Obj. 1: Align remaining JTAs to the content areas and the 30 CFR
- Obj. 2: Continue developing scenarios for the content areas
- Obj. 3: Update and expand the training system's Resources page
- Obj. 4: Validate new lesson content with SMEs
- Goal 2: Develop a design strategy for Duty 12, training responsibilities
- Goal 3: Develop an instructional strategy matrix for the entire training system that cross references all instructional strategies, learning objectives (terminal and enabling), assessment strategies and individual test items to validate our instructional approach
- Goal 4: Develop formative and summative evaluation plans
- Goal 5: Test and Validate modules, using a combination of tools (WAVE, Cynthia Says, W3C validators) Section 508 and SCORM Compliance
Fall Project Goals/Objectives
- Goal 1: Transition preexisting prototypes (Emergency and Unusual Situations and Pre-shift Examination) to Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
- Obj. 1: Familiarize team with LCMS application
- Obj. 2: Determine compatibility between current CMS and MSHA LCMS
- Obj. 3: If needed, revise and reformat content for LCMS
- Obj. 4: Review, validate, and if necessary revise content for Section 508 and SCORM compliance
- Obj. 5: Test, validate, and deliver course lessons via LCMS
- Goal 2: Design and develop course lessons for: Arrival on Section, On-Shift Examination, End Shift, Training Responsibilities)
- Obj. 1: Review JTAs, previously conducted Needs Assessment, Task Analysis, Learner Analysis, and preexisting prototypes
- Obj. 2: Formulate questions for SME’s
- Obj. 3: Meet with SME’s
- Goal 3: Section 508 Compliance (Pending LCMS Orientation)
- Obj. 1: Test and Validate modules, using a combination of tools (WAVE, Cynthia Says, W3C validators)
- Goal 4: SCORM 2004 Compliance (Pending LCMS Orientation)
- Goal 5: Develop assessment strategies and test items for instructional strategy validation

Roles and Responsibilities
- Write minutes for all team meetings
- Post minutes to team website by end of day
- Send email notification to team when minutes are posted
- Construct and maintain site architecture
- Make updates to site styles and formatting
- Act as a resource to other team members adding to the website
- Write weekly updates stating team progress on the project
- Post status report to team website
- Notifies team of posted report
- Send Word document of status report to advisor
- Write and distribute an agenda prior to each meeting
- Lead group discussions
- Ensure prompt, timely start and finish of meetings
