Accomplishments:

  • JTAs formatted and readied for SME review

  • Scenarios formatted and readied for SME review

  • Links to JTAs and Scenarios sent to SMEs for review

  • Text and layout adjustments were made to the training content including highlights, headings, links, etc. These changes were accomplished using embedded styles.

  • Branching approach applied to Pre-Shift exam scenario.


Open Items:

  • Awaiting updated Workforce Connections modification requests sent to Courtney Cox on 03/05/2007

  • Developing design/cross-referencing matrix that maps learning outcomes to objectives and assessment

  • Awaiting feedback regarding Training Responsibilities from Bob Duncan and Jeff Glatter

  • Create Captivate introduction on how to use the JTA content

  • Reconfigure Fatalgram index and linking to MSHA website from NIOSH scenarios

  • Awaiting SME feedback on revised NIOSH scenarios

  • Determine how to incorporate user feedback/comments on training

  • Conduct content verification and usability testing for training

  • Research JTA ‘Scavenger Hunt concept’

  • Determine how to incorporate instructor feedback from NIOSH scenarios

  • Continue testing formatting options (new window sizing, animated menus, audio, etc)

  • Add Technical Requirements guide to site

  • Gather instructional ideas/material for Training Responsibilities, Arrive On Shift, and End Shift training

  • Add GMU credit to training


Next Week's Goals:

  • Review received SME feedback

  • Prepare for SME arrival

  • Begin designing Training Responsibilities

  • Discuss design ideas for end-shift and arrive on section duties

  • Complete draft of design/cross-referencing matrix)

  • Add project agenda to team site
